Wavelength to Colour Relationship. A simple tool to convert a wavelength in nm to an RGB, hexadecimal or HSL colour. Physics Light Colour. Over the course of millions of years, the human eye has evolved to detect light in the range 380—780nm, a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum known as visible light, which we perceive as colour.
PDF/X-1a will always convert everything to CMYK. PDF/X-3 will not convert RGB images to CMYK, but embed the appropriate color profile for all RGB images instead. If your printer asks for PDF/X-3 but also asks for CMYK only images, choose PDF/X-1a instead. PDF1.3/1.4 will convert images to CMYK if all options under the Color tab are deselected.

Cmyk. Cmyk is similar to the Cmy color space, with the addition of black (k). In theory the black component is not necessary, however this color space is primarily used in color printing where the mixture of cyan, magenta, and yellow result in a brown color rather than black.

This calculator converts CMYK color codes into the closest RGB value. To use it, enter the CMYK values into the input at the top and the converted RGB code will appear below as you type with a rough preview of the color when available. If you don't know the CMYK value (s), you can use our color picker to select a color.
Equations to Convert HSL to RGB To work backwards and reconstruct RGB values from the HSL values, you first compute d and m with the equations d = S(1 - |2L-1|) m = 255(L - ½d). Now define another number, x, with the equation x = d[1 - |(H/60)mod_2 - 1|], where mod_2 means division modulo 2.
This is the formula that we use to convert RGB to respective CMY format: C = 1 - ( R / 255 ) M = 1 - ( G / 255 ) Y = 1 - ( B / 255 ) I am trying to display the CMY image after applying this formula to RGB values of the original image, but the resultant values that I get are between 0 and 1. I don't think this range can be used to display an image.

To convert CMYK to Pantone or to find the nearest color, simply type in the CMYK values in the respective Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key fields, then tap the "Perform Calculation" button or anywhere on the screen for the result and the corresponding colors will be displayed. If no PMS color appears, try a close PMS color or change "accuracy" in Nr0C2r.
