Ihave a 2018 Honda Civic Si 4dr with about 90k miles on it. I recently replaced the Spark Plugs, Coil Packs and got an oil change but the problem continues to persist. I wasn’t sure if the BOV spacer was the issue and after plenty of research it appears they aren’t good and cause turbo lag and i removed it. The problem is still
SoI had a question on the serviceability of the valve cover on the 1.5 engine. My 2018 Si started getting oil onto the spark plugs because one of the spark plug seals went bad, I went to Honda asking for a valve cover gasket and the seals for the spark plugs and they told me Honda only sells the valve cover with the gasket and seals included.
Goingthough the same currently with my 2018 Honda Accord LX with @ 80,000. 2018 Accord 1.5t (88,000 miles). accords than civics despite civic getting the engine a couple years earlier. civic pushing a bit lower boost than the accord from the factory so chances of failure prob lower. im currently weighing my options w/ an 18' accord The2018 Honda Civic has 4 problems reported for evaporator leak.
