Remove the bolt and the parking aid module. To install, reverse the removal procedure. The parking aid system is disabled if a fault is detected in one of the 4 sensors, the parking aid speaker, or the parking aid module. This is indicated by the parking aid disabled warning.
The test run revealed that the engine seems to rev much more freely, but unfortunately the amber light and restricted performance still came on and is doing so as soon as I give the accelerator a little umph.
