Hi all, I've been having DPF problems with my 1.6 TDCI focus (2010, 76K miles), and need a bit of advice on decisions going forward. I haven't found one post that really explores different DPF options together clearly, so hopefully this will prove useful for others. Mine's bad, it makes my car lose alot of power occasionally going down the road. I can feel it "surging" down the road sometimes.
Hi, I have an 07,2.2 TDCI transit,had a problem with surging tickover and stalling at junctions and lights, eventually packed in altogether and wouldn't start.Have had it checked out and they replaced the EGR Valve-came back running but still cutting out at low revs,went back and had fuel regulation valve replaced- ran fine for day and a half,jumped in after a delivery,started straight up butReplacement: EGR valve – FORD FIESTA VI Van. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. Step 4. Clean the EGR valve. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. Step 5. Detach the EGR valve connector. Step 6.
